Every time you visit a Mexican restaurant, they always serve you chips and salsa! Then you order your food and are full by the time it comes, from all the chips and salsa you snacked on. Salsa is so easy to make at home, a great snack to eat when craving Mexican.
4-6 Roma Tomatoes, diced
1 red onion, diced
1 bunch of cilantro, minced
1 Pablano or Anaheim pepper, minced
1 teaspoon table salt
1 tablespoon lime juice ( or more depending on what you like)
Finely dice first 4 ingredients and put into a bowl.
Stir to combine
Flavor with salt and lime juice
Refridgerate overnight to blend flavors
Serve with favorite tortilla chips.
* I will sometimes make this in a food processor to make it more liquidy.
