Who doesn’t love a good homemade spaghetti sauce? I sure do!
I made this recipe one time when I was cooking a batch of Grammy’s ravioli.
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cans ( 14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) tomatoe sauce
1 can ( 12 oz) tomato paste
2 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Mushroooms slices ( optional)
Place all ingredients in a crock pot, stir to combine.
Turn slow cooker on low and cook for 6 hours.
Served over favorite spaghetti or pasta.
Makes about 10 cups
