1 package pearl onions, peeled
1.25 pounds beef chunks
1-36 oz beef broth
1-16oz can stewed tomatoes
1 small bag baby carrots
4 russet potatoes, peeled and chunked
1/4 cup water
1-3 tablespoons cornstarch
Place all ingredients into a slow cooker, except for the water and cornstarch. Season to liking with spices. I don’t use measuring spoons when making some recipes ( I hould though, could be helpful).
Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-6 hours.
Before serving, in a small container or jar mix together water and cornstarch, shake to combine. Slowly pour in the thickening mixture, and stir till thickened to liking.
Serve with your favorite loaf of bread.
Makes enough for 4 people with left overs
