Beef N’ Broccoli

Here I go again back to Asian inspired take out dishes. I am a firm beliver in making your own take out, even though on those lazy nights, go ahead and order that take out!

Beef N’ Broccoli

Ingredients
1 pound top sirloin steak ( ¼ inch thin slices)
1/3 cup oyster sauce
1/3 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon corn starch
3-4 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 pound broccoli florets

Directions

  • In a sauce pan steam broccoli for 4-5 minutes and rinse in cold water
  • In a measuring cup measure out oyster sauce, chicken broth, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugars, cornstarch and 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • In a wok heat oil, ginger and garlic
  • Once the oil is popping add beef and cook until beef is no longer pink about 5 minutes
  • Once beef is cooked add the sauce and broccoli, combine to coat
  • Top with 1 tablespoon rice vinegar and heat through
  • Serve warm

Serving Suggestions

Serve over rice!
