Who doesn’t love the classic yellow cake with chocolate frosting? It was a staple dessert for family birthday parties growing up.
Dark Chocolate Frosting
1 stick ( ½ cup) Earth Balance butter, softened
2/3 cup especially dark cocoa powder
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup lactose free fat free milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
In electric mixer beat all ingredients until spreadable consistency.
If frosting is too thick, add milk ( 1 teaspoon at a time)
Makes about 2 cups frosting.
