Classic dessert recipe for hot summer months.
Mix and pat into baking pan
½ cup Crisco
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ cup sugar
½ lemon rind, grated
Preheat oven 350°F
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes
- While crust is baking mix filling in a mixing bowl
- When crust is finished baking pour filling into crust
- Bake additional 20-25 minutes
Can be topped with powdered sugar right out of oven for extra sweetness!
Once cooled, Cut into squares and serve!
